This service is suitable for those who have already set up a charity and qualify to register with the Charity Commission for England and Wales

The requirement to register as a charity is set down in law and this can be complex. The Charity Commission will only register organisations that are exclusively charitable and meet the qualification criteria. We will use our comprehensive knowledge of the legal requirements to register as a charity to advise whether you meet the criteria and prepare the registration application on your behalf

Our approach is to offer you a free initial telephone consultation about your proposal to register your organisation as a charity to help you to decide if registering as a charity is the right option for you

If you then decide to use our Register a Charity service, we will ask you for further details about what your charity does and how it is run so that we can apply to register your charity with the Charity Commission. We will help you to collate all the relevant information and documents needed to support the application and complete and submit the application form on your behalf. We will then deal with all correspondence with the Charity Commission until a registration decision has been made
